Doing Business with the City of Industry
The City of Industry frequently has opportunities for contractors to bid on city projects. Contractors may apply for open bids with the City of Industry by visiting the City’s vendor portal.
All businesses, including professions, stores, trades, services and every other occupation, are required to obtain a use permit to conduct business in the City of Industry. Please call the City of Industry for more information at (626) 333-2211.

Building permits must be obtained for all new construction, renovations and improvements. The City of Industry does not charge for building permits, but there is a fee charged by Los Angeles County, Building and Safety Department.
The only tax assessed by the City is the property value tax.
